Rule types

Rules can match on sender, recipient, subject patterns, attachment type, or content categories, and can be combined with logical operators.

Actions

Each rule can trigger an action such as quarantine, reject, tag, redirect, or pass through with logging only.

Allow and block lists

Trusted senders can be added to an allow list to bypass specific checks, while known malicious sources can be permanently blocked at the connection layer.

Testing rules

New rules can be run in simulation mode against recent traffic before being enforced, avoiding unintended disruption to mail flow.
